Senior Bowl Weigh-In: Results and Reactions for the North Team

Time to break the radio silence on here once again. I decided to take body notes on all of the players during their weigh-ins. Here are the results for the North.

Hakeem Adeniji - OT - Kansas

Height: 6'4 3/8"

Weight: 302 pounds

Hand: 9 7/8"

Arm: 33 7/8"

Wingspan: 82 1/4"

Roster measurements: 6'5" and 300 pounds

Notes: Adeniji measured in around the expected height and weight, but he looked good on the stage. His frame might not be the most imposing, but he has NFL size and looks the part. He carried little unnecessary weight and looked well-proportioned. One of the most notable parts of Adeniji's weigh-in was his thighs, which came in bigger than anticipated. The weigh-in should calm concerns surrounding Adeniji's size moving to the next level. It's also worth noting that his arm length passes the "standard" for offensive tackles, which is between 33 and 33 1/2".

Bradlee Anae - EDGE - Utah

Height: 6'3 3/8"

Weight: 257 pounds

Hand: 9 1/2"

Arm: 31 7/8"

Wing: 78"

Roster Measurements: 6'3" and 265 pounds

Notes: Anae measured in slightly lighter than expectations, but he has room to grow into his frame a bit. He looked particularly thin in the stomach and chest, and did not carry NFL thickness in his torso. Overall, Anae looks underwhelming from a physical standpoint at this point in time. His arm length measurements were somewhat expected given his tape, but it's still worrisome. It's worth noting that Anae seemed to struggle answering questions from a scout earlier in the week. He has gotten off to a rough start so far.

Darius Anderson - RB - TCU

Height: 5'10 1/2"

Weight: 195 pounds

Hand: 9 5/8"

Arm: 31"

Wing: 78"

Roster Measurements: 5'11" and 212 pounds

Notes: We have our first major roster measurement differentiation here. Anderson was certainly not the listed 212 pounds. At 195 pounds he looked maxed out physically. Anderson's had a bulky chest and a filled out frame, but he still looked undersized. He had very small legs, particularly in the lower half. Anderson's stock may not be harmed too much, as anyone who watched his tape would know that he's not a thumper. It's also helpful that the other running backs weighed in disappointingly as well.

Essang Bassey - CB - Wake Forest

Height: 5'9 3/8"

Weight: 191 pounds

Hand: 7 7/8"

Arm: 31"

Wing: 73 3/4"

Roster Measurements: 5'10" and 190 pounds

Notes: The Wake Forest roster pretty much nailed this one, although it was a bit of an underwhelming weigh-in for Bassey. He's pretty short and his frame seemed maxed out. His arms looked strong and he looked the part of an NFL cornerback beyond the obvious size concerns. It doesn't appear like Bassey's weigh-in will hurt or help his cause.

Zack Baun - EDGE - Wisconsin

Height: 6'2 1/2"

Weight: 240 pounds

Hand: 9 5/8"

Arm: 32 1/8"

Wing: 78"

Roster Measurements: 6'3" and 235 pounds

Notes: Baun came around the expected numbers, although I anticipated him being slightly taller. He was certainly a weigh-in winner though. Baun looked strong, with big well-made arms. His torso looked sturdy and thick. His legs were impressive as well. Baun may not have been the measurement freak that some other players were, but he looked great for an outside linebacker.

Francis Bernard - LB - Utah

Height: 6'0 1/2"

Weight: 230 pounds

Hand: 9 5/8"

Arm: 31 5/8"

Wing: 77 1/4"

Roster Measurements: 6'1" and 235 pounds

Notes: The roster measurements weren't too far off, but Bernard wasn't that impressive looking in person. He blended into the crowd in the player's hotel, and just didn't set himself apart at the weigh-ins. He's built low to the ground and that could be why he changes directions so easy on the field. He's pretty light throughout his body though, and it seems like he doesn't have much more room to grow as a pro.

Ben Bredeson - OG - Michigan

Height: 6'4 3/4"

Weight: 316 pounds

Hand: 10"

Arm: 31 1/2"

Wing: 76 1/8"

Roster Measurements: 6'5" and 325 pounds

Notes: Let's address the elephant in the room. Bredeson came in with much smaller arms than I expected. I was guessing he'd have 34"+ arms based off of how he used his length on tape. His weigh-in was impressive though. He looked every bit the part of an imposing interior lineman. He's a big-bodied guy with a ton of good weight stashed in his torso and thighs. When he walked across the stage it thudded underneath him. Forget the arm length and he's a winner.

Terrell Burgess - SAF - Utah

Height: 5'11 3/8"

Weight: 192

Hand: 9 1/4"

Arm: 30"

Wing: 72"

Roster Measurements: 6'0" and 198 pounds

Notes: Burgess looked slender, but that's no surprise compared to how he looks on the field. His tweener body type doesn't seem built for a role as a box safety. He's built low to the ground and has some decent proportions. His weigh-in left something to be desired.

Jeremy Chinn - SAF - Southern Illinois

Height: 6'3 1/8"

Weight: 219 pounds

Hand: 9 1/2" Arm: 32"

Wing: 77"

Roster Measurements: 6'3" and 212 pounds

Notes: One of the biggest winners from the weigh-in. Chinn looks perfect for the hybrid safety role. He's long and looks every bit the part. Very proportional. His arms looked long and strong. Chinn separated himself from the rest of the safeties from a physical standpoint.

Chase Claypool - WR - Notre Dame

Height: 6'4 3/8"

Weight: 229 pounds

Hand: 10"

Arm: 33 1/8"

Wing: 80"

Roster Measurements: 6'4 3/8" and 229 pounds

Notes: Dang, Notre Dame nailed this one. Claypool had a great weigh-in, looking every bit as big as his measurements indicated. He looks long and imposing, which is something that can't be said for a lot of the receivers here. Another notable aspect of Claypool's weigh-in was that he looks like he could adjust his body even more as a pro. There's room to add 10-15 pounds and work as a slot tight end in the pros.

Carter Coughlin - EDGE - Minnesota

Height: 6'3 1/4"

Weight: 234 pounds

Hand: 9 1/4"

Arm: 31 1/4"

Wing: 76 1/4"

Roster Measurements: 6'4" and 245 pounds

Notes: Coughlin's size was already a concern based off of his tape and school measurements, but he looked even worse walking across the stage. Coughlin seemed maxed out physically at 234 pounds, and he lacked mass throughout his torso and legs. He doesn't look big enough to be an NFL edge rusher, and will need to prove himself as a coverage linebacker in the future. He was one of the biggest losers of the weigh-in.

Darrion Daniels - DL - Nebraska

Height: 6'3 1/2"

Weight: 322 pounds

Hand: 9"

Arm: 33 1/2"

Wing: 81 1/8"

Roster Measurements: 6'4" and 325 pounds

Notes: One of the biggest concerns for Daniels was that his weight would be sloppy and unnecessary, but he looked good during the weigh-ins. He looked every bit of 322 pounds with huge thighs and a massive chest. It was a pleasant surprise for Daniels. Don't be surprised if teams are looking at him as a nose tackle of the future if he can perform well throughout the week.

Ashtyn Davis - SAF - California

Height: 6'1"

Weight: 195 pounds

Hand: 9 1/4"

Arm: 31 3/8"

Wing: 75"

Roster Measurements: 6'1" and 200 pounds

Notes: It was a forgettable weigh-in for Davis, as he looked thin and mildly undersized. He was evenly proportioned and looked like an NFL defensive back from a body structure standpoint, but could benefit from having some more meat on the bone. One of the most common knocks on Davis is his size, and it's understandable why given how light he looked.

Quartney Davis - WR - Texas A&M

Height: 6'1 1/8"

Weight: 199 pounds

Hand: 9 3/4"

Arm: 32 1/8"

Wing: 76 1/8"

Roster Measurements: 6'2" and 200 pounds

Notes: Davis measured in around expectations, but his frame did look maxed out. It's no surprise given how he looked on the field, but he's thin-chested and lacks the desired body of an NFL receiver. There have been rumors floating around surrounding character issues with Davis. The issues don't seem to be severe, but he was described by one scout as a loud goofball.

Jalen Elliott - SAF - Notre Dame

Height: 6'0 1/2"

Weight: 205 pounds

Hand: 9 1/8"

Arm: 32"

Wing: 76 5/8"

Roster Measurements: 6'0 1/2" and 210 pounds

Notes: Elliott can in smaller than expected, as he lacked mass in his lower half. His long legs could use some additional weight. He didn't do anything to hurt or help himself with the weigh-in.

Leki Fotu - DL - Utah

Height: 6'5 3/8"

Weight: 337 pounds

Hand: 10 1/4"

Arm: 33 7/8"

Wing: 79 1/4"

Roster Measurements: 6'5" and 335 pounds

Notes: Fotu came thundering across the stage like few other guys at the weigh-ins. He has massive arms and legs, and looked like he could carry a house across the stage. Everything that Fotu's tape showed from a frame standpoint seemed to check out. He carried very little bad weight despite being absolutely gigantic.

Neville Gallimore - DL - Oklahoma

Height: 6'2"

Weight: 304 pounds

Hand: 10"

Arm: 32 7/8"

Wing: 78 1/4"

Roster Measurements: 6'2" and 302 pounds

Notes: When I saw Gallimore on film I wondered how a man with his size could reportedly run a sub 4.80 40-yard dash. After seeing him in person, I totally believe it. He looked absolutely fantastic at the weigh-ins. He's a bit odd-bodied with hips that sit a little high and a torso that seems compact, but he is put together. His lower half is beautiful for a defensive lineman and he carries very little excess weight. He's no Aaron Donald, but if you put 15 good pounds onto Donald from where he is now? This is what you'd get.

Antonio Gandy-Golden - WR - Liberty

Height: 6'3 5/8"

Weight: 222 pounds

Hand: 9 5/8"

Arm: 32 1/4"

Wing: 77 1/4"

Roster Measurements: 6'4" and 220 pounds

Notes: Gandy-Golden checked the desired boxes at the weigh-in. His arms looked strong, and he showed off a long frame that's easy to fall in love with. He's proportional as well, with good thickness from head to toe. He looked the part.

Alohi Gilman - SAF - Notre Dame

Height: 5'10 5/8"

Weight: 202 pounds

Hand: 9"

Arm: 31 5/8"

Wing: 73 3/8"

Roster Measurements: 5'10 1/2" and 202 pounds

Notes: Gilman didn't do anything to separate himself from others at the weigh-in, but he looked decent for a safety. He was a bit of an average-bodied guy, particularly in the chest, but there were no notable flaws with the way he is built.

Anthony Gordon - QB - Washington State

Height: 6'2 1/4"

Weight: 199 pounds

Hand: 9 1/2"

Arm: 31 3/8"

Wing: 73 1/2"

Roster Measurements: 6'3" and 210 pounds

Notes: It's tough to classify quarterbacks as losers for the weigh-in, but Gordon would fall into that category. He had a very plain body with thin legs and a very light overall structure. He looked shorter than his height indicated, largely due to how underdeveloped his body is overall. He was the least impressive of the six quarterbacks who walked across the stage, although Shea Patterson wasn't far away.

DaVon Hamilton - DL - Ohio State

Height: 6'3 3/4"

Weight: 327 pounds

Hand: 9 7/8"

Arm: 32 7/8"

Wing: 79 3/4"

Roster Measurements: 6'4" and 310 pounds

Notes: Holy smokes, Hamilton looked remarkable. He came in way heavier than expected compared to his roster numbers, but he didn't look overweight. He had massive arms and a giant lower half. The old Mayock term "bubble butt" applies perfectly for Hamilton. His torso was impressive as well for a 327 pounder, as he didn't carry anything that isn't useful on it. Hamilton was easily one of the biggest winners of the weigh-ins.

Nick Harris - C - Washington

Height: 6'1 1/4"

Weight: 293 pounds

Hand: 9 1/2"

Arm: 32 3/8"

Wing: 77 3/8"

Roster Measurements: 6'1" and 302 pounds

Notes: Harris had a good start to the week, apparently interviewing well with a scout in the hotel. He looked really rough at the weigh-in though. Tipping the scales at 293 pounds wouldn't be terrible if Harris looked good, but he was carrying a ton of unnecessary weight and lacked desirable lower body thickness for a lineman. His body seemed unrefined, and there doesn't seem to be much room for making adjustments. Harris may have been one of the biggest losers from the weigh-in.

Malik Harrison - LB - Ohio State

Height: 6'2 5/8"

Weight: 246 pounds

Hand: 9 7/8"

Arm: 32 7/8"

Wing: 79 1/8"

Roster Measurements: 6'3" and 240 pounds

Notes: Harrison didn't look nearly as big as his 246 pound weigh-in would suggest. He isn't particularly bulky, but his frame looked sufficient for an NFL linebacker. His arms stood out for looking large and well-defined, but his overall weigh-in didn't stand out from the pack.

JaMycal Hasty - RB - Baylor

Height: 5'8"

Weight: 203 pounds

Hand: 9 1/4"

Arm: 31"

Wing: 73 3/4"

Roster Measurements: 5'9" and 205 pounds

Notes: Hasty surprisingly checked in near his roster weight, which was good to see in a back group full of undersized speedsters. He looked very short and maxed out at that weight, and cemented himself as a future rotational guy at the next level. His body was well-defined and he carried no bad weight on it though.

Charlie Heck - OT - North Carolina

Height: 6'7 7/8"

Weight: 309 pounds

Hand: 10"

Arm: 34 1/8"

Wing: 82"

Roster Measurements: 6'8" and 315 pounds

Shrine Measurements: 6'7 1/2", 307 pounds, 10 1/4" hands, 34" arms, 82 3/8" wingspan.

Notes: There were a few reactions from the crowd when Heck checked in, as he was clearly one of the tallest guys there. His frame looked great and seemed capable of holding more weight once he gets into an NFL program. He had an average looking body in terms of thickness and definition though.

Matt Hennessy - C - Temple

Height: 6'4"

Weight: 302 pounds

Hand: 10 1/8"

Arm: 32 3/8"

Wing: 79 5/8"

Roster Measurements: 6'4" and 295 pounds

Notes: Hennessy looked good during weigh-ins, although he didn't stand out from the overall pack of players. He's well put together for a center with thick thighs and a nice bulk to his body as a whole.

Justin Herron - OT - Wake Forest

Height: 6'3 5/8"

Weight: 301

Hand: 9 1/8"

Arm: 34 5/8"

Wing: 81 3/4"

Roster Measurements: 6'5" and 290 pounds

Notes: Herron was a massive winner, as he looked very proportional with huge, defined thighs. His lower half looks like it can generate a ton of power. His arms also came in very nice for an offensive tackle. He checked every box from a looks and measurements standpoint.

Trevon Hill - EDGE - Miami

Height: 6'3"

Weight: 233 pounds

Hand: 9 1/8"

Arm: 32 3/8"

Wing: 78 1/8"

Roster Measurements: 6'3" and 238 pounds.

Notes: Hill came in at an abysmal 233 pounds, and looked incredibly undersized for an edge rusher. His frame looked underdeveloped and he lacked the mass needed to be an effective run defender at the next level. Hill was one of the biggest losers from the weigh-in.

K.J. Hill - WR - Ohio State

Height: 6'0"

Weight: 192 pounds

Hand: 9"

Arm: 29"

Wing: 72"

Roster Measurements: 6'0" and 195 pounds

Notes: On the smaller side compared to a lot of the receivers at the weigh-in. Thin and a bit frail for the position. Didn't do anything to ace or flunk the weigh-in.

Brycen Hopkins - TE - Purdue

Height: 6'3 3/4"

Weight: 241 pounds

Hand: 10 1/8"

Arm: 32"

Wing: 76 1/2"

Roster Measurements: 6'5" and 245 pounds

Notes: Long-chested guy with a linearly made frame. Average upper body that doesn't pack a lot of mass. Looks more like a receiver than a tight end in terms of how his body is structured. Decent thigh thickness.

Khaleke Hudson - LB/S - Michigan

Height: 5'11 1/8"

Weight: 218 pounds

Hand: 10"

Arm: 30"

Wing: 72 1/8"

Roster Measurements: 6'0" and 220 pounds

Notes: Arguably the biggest winner from the weigh-in. Hudson isn't the most imposing from a frame perspective, but he looks like superman. He's absolutely jacked, and has a great overall build. With big strong legs and a ton of muscle packed through his torso and arms, Hudson looks more like a bodybuilder than a football player in some ways.

Lamar Jackson - CB - Nebraska

Height: 6'2 1/4"

Weight: 206 pounds

Hand: 9 5/8"

Arm: 32 1/8"

Wing: 78"

Roster Measurements: 6'3" and 215 pounds

Notes: Jackson looked long and impressive, with a well-defined set of arms. He didn't look as imposing as his measurements would suggest, but he did stand out from some of the other corners.

Jonah Jackson - OG - Ohio State

Height: 6'3 1/2"

Weight: 310 pounds

Hand: 10"

Arm: 32 7/8"

Wing: 78 1/2"

Roster Measurements: 6'4" and 305 pounds

Notes: Frame checked the desired boxes, but he was a bit disappointing in terms of makeup for 310. With thighs that don't really match the chest, Jackson seemed a tad top-heavy with his build. It wasn't a bad weigh-in for him, but there were more desirable outcomes.

Josh Jones - OT - Houston

Height: 6'5 1/8"

Weight: 311 pounds

Hand: 10 1/8"

Arm: 33 5/8"

Wing: 80 1/2"

Roster Measurements: 6'7" and 310 pounds

Notes: One of the best looking offensive linemen, Jones is put together nicely with a lot of good weight stashed on his frame. He has thick thighs and a filled out overall frame. While there likely isn't room for growing any further, he looks the part of an NFL tackle already.

Joshua Kelley - RB - UCLA

Height: 5'10 5/8"

Weight: 214 pounds

Hand: 9 1/4"

Arm: 32 3/8"

Wing: 75 5/8"

Roster Measurements: 5'11" and 219 pounds

Notes: Looked a lot bigger than the other backs. Came in at a very good-looking 214 pounds, with very little bad weight on his body. Good thickness through torso and legs.

Jordan Love - QB - Utah State

Height: 6'3 5/8"

Weight: 223 pounds

Hand: 10 5/8"

Arm: 33 1/8"

Wing: 79 7/8"

Roster Measurements: 6'4" and 225 pounds

Notes: Love may not have the most impressive frame, but he looks better than most quarterbacks coming out of college. Well-proportioned and just an above average physical makeup overall.

Sean McKeon - TE - Michigan

Height: 6'5 1/8"

Weight: 238 pounds

Hand: 9 1/4"

Arm: 33 3/8"

Wing: 79"

Roster Measurements: 6'5" and 246 pounds

Notes: McKeon's weigh-in was underwhelming as a whole. He isn't the biggest guy, and it doesn't seem like he will be able to hold more weight at the next level. With a thin chest and disappointing limbs, he failed to make an impression.

Colton McKivitz - OT - West Virginia

Height: 6'6 1/4"

Weight: 304 pounds

Hand: 10 1/4"

Arm: 33 1/4"

Wing: 81 3/8"

Roster Measurements: 6'7" and 312 pounds

Notes: McKivitz came in slightly smaller than his expected weight, and he didn't look great doing it. His body looked average overall, and his thighs were a bit small for an offensive tackle with his stature. It wasn't a poor weigh-in, but he didn't stand out from the crowd.

Josh Metellus - SAF - Michigan

Height: 5'11 1/8"

Weight: 210 pounds

Hand: 10 1/8"

Arm: 32 1/8"

Wing: 75"

Roster Measurements: 6'0" and 218 pounds

Notes: Not the biggest guy. Came in a bit light in the torso even though his body was well-defined overall.

Denzel Mims - WR - Baylor

Height: 6'2 3/4"

Weight: 206 pounds

Hand: 9 1/4"

Arm: 33 1/4"

Wing: 78 1/4"

Roster Measurements: 6'3" and 215 pounds

Notes: Mims looked somewhat as expected during the weigh-ins. A somewhat thin guy with long legs on a high cut build, he isn't a particularly evenly proportioned guy. His frame wasn't terrible, but it highlighted some of the concerns about him.

Larrell Murchison - DL - North Carolina State

Height: 6'2 3/8"

Weight: 294 pounds

Hand: 10 1/8"

Arm: 32 7/8"

Wing: 79 7/8"

Roster Measurements: 6'3" and 291 pounds

Notes: One of the biggest losers from the weigh-in, Murchison looked overweight at 294 pounds. With thighs that were undersized and a torso carrying bad weight, he just didn't look like an NFL defensive lineman. It was a really rough showing for the former JUCO stud.

Michael Ojemudia - CB - Iowa

Height: 6'0 1/4"

Weight: 199 pounds

Hand: 9"

Arm: 32 1/8"

Wing: 77 1/8"

Roster Measurements: 6'1" and 200 pounds

Notes: Ojemudia weighed in at an acceptable height and weight for a cornerback, but he didn't stand out from other guys with body composition. He's a higher cut player who looks slender in the arms and legs.

Shea Patterson - QB - Michigan

Height: 6'1 1/8"

Weight: 204 pounds

Hand: 9 1/4"

Arm: 29 3/8"

Wing: 73 1/2"

Roster Measurements: 6'2" and 202 pounds

Notes: When Patterson walked onto the stage the biggest question was whether or not he'd be over six foot tall. He barely cracked the mark, and did it quite unceremoniously. With a very average body, plain torso, and seemingly no room to grow, Patterson did not look that good at the weigh-in.

Matthew Peart - OT - Connecticut

Height: 6'6 1/2"

Weight: 310 pounds

Hand: 9 3/4"

Arm: 35 1/8"

Wing: 86 1/8"

Roster Measurements: 6'7" and 303 pounds

Notes: One of the bigger winners coming out of the weigh-ins, Peart looked every bit the part of a future NFL left tackle. He looked massive up close, but his frame still has room to grow if that's what a team wants. With a barrel chest and a ton of good weight in his torso, it'd be no surprise to see teams fall in love with how the UConn product is put together.

Michael Pittman Jr. - WR - USC

Height: 6'3 7/8"

Weight: 219 pounds

Hand: 9 1/8"

Arm: 32 3/8"

Wing: 78 1/2"

Roster Measurements: 6'4" and 220 pounds

Notes: Pittman's frame and weigh-in stood out, but he didn't have the most impressive body. His torso was decently sized, but his overall frame hasn't been filled out yet. He looks much bigger in pads than with his shirt off. It wasn't a bad weigh-in, but he likely didn't catch any eyes.

Troy Pride Jr. - CB - Notre Dame

Height: 5'11 3/8"

Weight: 193 pounds

Hand: 8 3/8"

Arm: 31 3/8"

Wing: 73 3/4"

Roster Measurements: 5'11 1/2" and 194 pounds

Notes: Pride didn't surprise many people by weighing in the way he did. A smaller guy who doesn't have the frame to get much bigger than 195 pounds, he looks like a nickel corner at first glance. His arms looked surprisingly strong though.

James Proche - WR - SMU

Height: 5'10 5/8"

Weight: 196 pounds

Hand: 9 5/8"

Arm: 30 1/8"

Wing: 72"

Roster Measurements: 6'0" and 193 pounds

Notes: One of the more disappointing weigh-ins from the North team, Proche looked undersized and physically maxed out on stage. Most notable was his thin calves and arms, as he looked more like a freshman college player than a senior.

Alton Robinson - EDGE - Syracuse

Height: 6'3"

Weight: 259 pounds

Hand: 9 1/8"

Arm: 32 1/8"

Wing: 79 1/4"

Roster Measurements: 6'4" and 260 pounds

Notes: A well put together player with nice and even proportions, Robinson checked the desired boxes with the way he looked. He has good mass in his torso and looks like the prototype edge defender.

Jason Strowbridge - DL/EDGE - North Carolina

Height: 6'4 1/4"

Weight: 267 pounds

Hand: 9 7/8"

Arm: 32 7/8"

Wing: 80 1/4"

Roster Measurements: 6'5" and 285 pounds

Notes: Strowbridge came in dramatically smaller than his anticipated weight, and looked like he's only capable of operating as an edge rusher at the next level. He's a higher cut player but has very little bad weight put on his frame. Although Strowbridge moved around during his career at UNC, it's most likely that he'll be used as a run defending 5-tech in the pros.

Charlie Taumoepeau - TE - Portland State

Height: 6'2 1/4"

Weight: 244 pounds

Hand: 9 5/8"

Arm: 32 1/2"

Wing: 77 5/8"

Roster Measurements: 6'3" and 245 pounds

Notes: One of the smaller tight ends in Mobile, Taumoepeau didn't look impressive in the slightest with his build at the weigh-in. He's a very slim 244 pounds with a thin torso that needs filled out more as he transitions to the pros.

Adam Trautman - TE - Dayton

Height: 6'5"

Weight: 251 pounds

Hand: 9 5/8"

Arm: 32 1/2"

Wing: 77 7/8"

Roster Measurements: 6'6" and 253 pounds

Notes: A clear cut winner from the weigh-ins, Trautman stood out for having a complete body with great proportions. He looks the part of a star tight end. He packed almost no weight onto his body, which is a major surprise for a player coming out of the FCS level.

Josh Uche - EDGE - Michigan

Height: 6'1 3/8"

Weight: 241 pounds

Hand: 9 1/2"

Arm: 33 1/4"

Wing: 79 7/8"

Roster Measurements: 6'2" and 250 pounds

Notes: Uche looked strong with thick thighs and a lot of nice weight in his limbs, but he seemed slightly over-bulked in the torso. It was a bit of a concerning weigh-in for Uche given that he only came in at 241 pounds, which is on the border of being too low for an edge rusher. He looks like his best playing weight will be around 235 pounds, which could be an issue given his style.

Evan Weaver - LB - California

Height: 6'2 1/8"

Weight: 234 pounds

Hand: 9 3/8"

Arm: 32 3/8"

Wing: 77 1/8"

Roster Measurements: 6'3" and 235 pounds

Notes: Weaver's body is a bit unassuming, but he has a big frame that looks adequate for the linebacker position. It was expected that he'd weigh in closer to the 240 pound mark, but 234 pounds isn't a bad number if he can test well at the Combine.

Kenny Willekes - EDGE - Michigan State

Height: 6'3 3/4"

Weight: 252 pounds

Hand: 9 3/4"

Arm: 31 1/4"

Wing: 78 1/4"

Roster Measurements:

Notes: He didn't stand out in terms of a phenomenal body, but Willekes checked the measurement boxes for a typical defensive end. He has a lot of good weight with nice thigh thickness. The only questions for Willekes are his smaller arms, and a squared up frame without much of a bubble on the backside.

Logan Wilson - LB - Wyoming Height: 6'2 1/8"

Weight: 241 pounds

Hand: 9 1/8"

Arm: 32"

Wing: 77 1/8"

Roster Measurements: 6'2" and 250 pounds

Notes: Wilson isn't the greatest looking guy out there, but he has a quality frame that brings the mass desired for a more traditional linebacker. He's a comfortable 241 pounds with room to make adjustments if needed.

That concludes the notes from the North team's weigh-in. I have no clue when I'll get around to the South team's notes, but it'll be formatted and written in a similar fashion. To any prospects who I pissed off with my comments, just know that I look ten times worse than any of you. To readers, I hope you enjoyed this deeper dive into the results from the weigh-in. I looked like an idiot trying to hand-write notes in a crowded auditorium, but it was worth it getting a few extra notes in on every guy's body type.
